OPTICS
are the current generation of energy simulation software from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, USA.
Together, they are the cornerstone of the
US National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC)
and the
Australian Fenestration Rating Council (AFRC).
We provide NFRC-compliant training in the use of these approved tools, for the certification of windows, glazed doors and some skylight types. NFRC technical procedures are used for
determining U-factor, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient, Visible Transmittance and Condensation Resistance of windows, glazed doors and some skylight types.
